I have a friend who dyes wool and these were made from hers. I do use the industrially dyed as well and I also dye my own. No one supplier seems to have all the colours I want.
Had the happy discovery of your work in the Blue Mountains on the weekend when I went into the nook and saw your gobsmackingly beautiful shawl (and bags and hats). Would have bought it if I was a bit leaner - didn't quite sit properly on me - was very bummed out! I would love to do a post on my blog about your work - so would love to use some of your images and create a link with your permission. I am excited to see that you teach - your work is honestly some of the most beautiful I've seen - I love the way you blend your colours. Would be so interested in any classes you might run in the future. I learned needlefelting from Birgitte Krag-Hansen a few years ago - so would love to get more into the wet felting too. Very excited by your work!
Just beautiful work - all of it. I really love the spiral form as well and use it a lot in my artwork too. It is one of the universal symbols of life. Really enjoyed your blog and the inspiration your passion for felt and colour gives.Kind regards, Linda.
Lovely, Pam. The blue one is the best!
ReplyDeleteThey are all fab - but I must disagree with Planettreasures - the green one is the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tess and Ginga. Perhaps I should run a poll?
ReplyDeleteI like that each one can be different for each new customer.
I love the colors! Do you dye all your wool Pam, or do you buy already industrially dyed wool? You get gorgeous colors.
