Many have said that the only colours they can get from natural dyeing are beige and brown. (I include my own comments from the early days in the field in this).
To dispel this I present the following. The colours are even more amazing in real life.

Hat Making Workshop
Last Sunday I gave a hat making workshop up here in the Blue Mountains. A day is actually quite a short amount of time to impart much knowledge of hats on. The more I discussed it the more I realised there is quite a lot to think about when planning a hat. I guess I often do a lot of this thinking beforehand and when it comes time to make the hat I know what I am to do.
I really love the part of teaching where everyone brings their own energy to the piece they are working on and creates the most amazing work all from the same lot of information!!
I want to congratulate everyone for the most beautiful job.
The photos aren't great because the lighting inside was a bit low, but you will get the idea.
