Same but different

So this is the latest bag made from the same pattern as the last one. The spiral ended up on the other side. It was easier to do this time though it is time consuming. The silk seems to really embed itself. I may be doing to much rubbing to start with I don't know. I'd like to see more of the lustre of the fabric. Started back to the teaching a couple of weeks ago so it has kept me busy and away from the studio. Need to get back into my rhythm.

loooove the colors of this one and it has a very subtle pattern there too, right?
what kind of wool do you use? i always use merino for everything but I've been thinking about expanding my horizons a bit!
Lovely again!

I too use merino for everything. It is the most readily available here. This one had some coarser 24 micron in it. I'm hoping this will make it more durable.
