I am always astounded at the size things have to be before they are felted. Here's the template and part way through laying out the hat. Looks interesting huh. No it's not a football hat.
Sorry about that - hit the wrong button (looks seriously embarrassed) - what I was trying to say is, I know what you mean! I often end up laying the fibre out on the floor (which is hard on the knees)

LOL...don't you always say about half way through....Did I measure it right? I always do.
What kind of wool are you using and how much shrinkage does it have?
Have you finished it or are you going to post mid-felt photo's Pam?
