Wow. Just wow.

I'm sorry that they didn't agree. I'm sitting here boggled by the amount of work you put into that and more than a little in awe of your vision.

It *is* amazing. And your pictures out in the woods put it in a proper setting. They missed the boat on this one.

Absolutely astounding! Sorry that it didn't get the recognition it deserves but you should enter it into other competitions as well. I am sure there are other opportunities to show this piece.

NO WAY?
Well if that is the case, the other entries must be even more mind-boggling?
But surely you can submit Moth for some other things? It is awesome and totally amazing - the different textures and shapes. Very beautiful Pam.
Thats the thing about 'art' that sucks - its not like a swimming race where the winner is easily identifiable. Its so very subjective.

Those people need to stop having grappa for breakfast... (or beer, dunno what the average strong beverage is in Australia hahaha).

Thankyou all so much for your support. Your comments do help to soften the blow. I'm a pretty good duster offer and there will be more.

It's truly stunning Pam, and sad they didn't see it so. Rally on to the next challenge, as there will surely be another. I (and lots of others) love it!

Your amazing moth creation deserves a chance to fly, so I'm glad to hear you are taking it all in stride. Stunning photos, too!

I would like to award Pam de Groot a gold star, for the ability to put up with pride and prejudice until the wee small hours while sewing a straight line...Really Pam it is just fantastic.. Bravo. You could enter it at Bendigo?
