Banksia Bling

On a recent visit by Marjolein Dallinga we went for a great bush walk to Blackheath in the Blue Mountains where I live. It was great to be immersed in the bush and again appreciate the gorgeous flora around me. The experience inspired this neckpiece.

Embracing Chaos

This little beauty has taken up a lot of time over the last 2 weeks. It did not quite come out as I had pictured in my head and I think I know how to get there for a future piece. I quite like it hanging in its natural home.

With a full range of weather conditions some of my keen students came to my studio yesterday and made some smashing hats.

Me and Spirals again

Yes it is my obsession. The humble spiral is revisited again. These 2 are samples for a larger piece I have to finish by next Friday. Wish me luck.

Whanganui New Zealand here I come!

I will be travelling (short flight this time) to the beautiful country of New Zealand. I haven't been there since I was young and I am really looking forward to it. If you can make it come along for a week long course of challenge and discovery. Using the Freedom construction method we will make some gorgeous garments. Book in soon to save a spot.
